Our Mission
The mission of the Colorado Access to Justice Commission is to expand access, quality, and fairness in the justice system for all Coloradans.
Who We Are
The Commission is made up of twenty voting Commissioners, additional emeritus and ex-officio Commissioners, and five full-time staff. Voting Commissioners are appointed by organizations committed to the integrity and accessibility of our civil justice system, including the Supreme Court, the Bar Association, Colorado’s statewide legal aid program, and the political branches.
What We Do
We are the statewide hub that unites, supports, and coordinates the access-to-justice ecosystem to maximize its impact and remove systemic barriers to change. This robust, growing ecosystem is hard at work building new solutions and applying time-tested solutions to address the justice gap. It includes lawyers, legal service organizations, judges, court staff, community organizations, funders, and policymakers.
