Elisa_Overall Headshot.jpg

Elisa Overall, who also goes by “Emo,” has dedicated her career to issues of equity and justice. In March of 2021 she was selected as the first-ever Executive Director to the Colorado Access to Justice Commission.

Previously Ms. Overall worked as court-appointed counsel in criminal appeals. She also lived and worked in southwest Colorado, directing nonprofit and grant work to support the region’s immigrant communities.

Ms. Overall is a 2014 alum of the Latino Leadership Institute, and has served on the board of RISE Colorado since 2015.

Ms. Overall and her husband have two small children and a boston terrier, and spend most of their free time picking up trails of toys.

She earned her B.A. from Stanford University and J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law.

Jason Roberts has spent his career working to create resources and opportunities in marginalized communities. He is a recent graduate of the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. While in law school he connected with the Colorado Access to Justice Commission to support the work of creating greater justice in the state of Colorado.

Prior to attending law school Jason connected with students and families in a diverse and underserved community in Houston TX. While there, he helped found and served as Executive Director of Family Point Resources, a nonprofit organization focused on engaging neighbors in supportive relationships.

Jason has two amazing children and an incredibly loving and supportive wife. He enjoys spending as much time as possible exploring Colorado and beyond with them.

Jason received a B.A. from the University of Colorado, a Master of Social Work from the University of Alabama, and a J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law.
