LISTEN & LEARN TOUR
Colorado Supreme Court Justice Melissa Hart, in her role as an Access to Justice Commissioner, is leading a virtual listening tour across Colorado.
Justice Hart and the ATJC Regional Convening subcommittee is holding regional virtual gatherings to gather input from community stakeholders on the barriers that exist in accessing the justice system to resolve civil legal problems.
Community stakeholders from a wide range of entities are being invited to share the experiences of their constituencies. These include entities such as social agencies, medical clinics, religious organizations, school districts, senior services providers, victim assistance advocates, youth services, housing shelters, local government agencies, and representatives from the courts and the legal community.
The ATJC's objective with the listening tour is to ensure that its work is responsive to the individual and ever-changing needs of communities across Colorado, as the Commission continues implementing its Strategic Plan for expanding and enhancing access to civil justice for all Coloradans.
